Winter’s delima

Posted on November 29, 2020November 29, 2020 by Joshua

A phoenix lives to die

Many do not understand

That it’s death isn’t the end

They’ll try to stop it

Prolong it

Thinking it’s suffering

Only to cause intense pain

Let it die

It’ll be happier

No more pain

No more suffering

Poof. There’s the flame

However, no one tells you it isn’t always going to come back.

See, this could be the last spark.

Let it die

It’s already lived lives of pain

Lives of suffering

You think you’re saving it

But it’s time to rest

It’s time to die.

Will it come back?

Who knows

Time will tell

Should it perish know this

It’s suffered numerous times

Met it’s maker numerous times

Lived lives of sorrow

At the same time

It’s lived lives of happiness

It’s known more joy

Then you or I

Now, let it die.

If it’s gone

Then so is its pain

The happiness lives on

So, let it die.

Just, let it die.
