Blog post #2 is a pretty short one. I’ve spent the time redoing the sprites in the game and making them more of my own. I even added a little gun shooting animation. It was pretty hard to figure out how I wanted to pose and key frame it. I hope y’all like the way it looks.

Hello there! I am not sure when this blog post will go up but I have decided to start writing dev blogs for my currently in the works 2D platformer that will be a donationware game. It currently doesn’t have a title. It’s interesting getting back into programming an actual game. My last game was a text based adventure and before that I was just working on a Breakout clone following an online lesson too much. Speaking of which, this too started out as an online lesson. However, I didn’t like how the instructor was making the game. This caused me to forge my own path throughout most of the class.

I remember when the Angry Video Game Nerd（AVGN) announced he was making a movie. Out of everyone I knew who liked the AVGN, I was the only person who thought the movie was a retarded idea. The movie came out and it was a pile of buffalo diarrhea. Despite how the movie turned out I actually think I was wrong. See, I thought the idea of an AVGN movie was retarded. People now say the same thing, “How could you make a movie about the AVGN?” They dismiss the idea just like I did. Recently I was thinking about it and realized there could be a few ideas about an AVGN movie that could work. Don’t question what I think about in my free time.

Are there ever times where you feel like the entire world is playing a trick on you? That’s how I feel about Doom Eternal. I don’t understand how people like Doom Eternal to such a degree that I feel like Ashton Kutcher will break into my house to scream that I’ve been Punk’d by the entire world, revealing the series reboot at the same time. Even reviewers I like, and usually agree with, like Civvie 11 praised the game like the second coming of Christ, but now I wonder how. This isn’t me being a contrarian either. I think people are just attached to the idea of Doom that they are overlooking a lot of glaring flaws with the game.

Why the hell did we want the Scott Pilgrim VS The World game back? I remember loving it when it first came out. It was a blast. I wasn’t even a fan of the series. I never read the comics. I bought the game before seeing the movie and I got a lot of my friends in college to buy it as well. All of us would play it non-stop for a while and we loved it. We bought the DLC and everything. When it came time to beg for it to come back I was right there begging with everyone else. I loved it in college! I wanted to buy it and play it with friends again, but… why…? The game is awful.

Some people will ask me questions about life in China and I will sometimes answer their questions. I try to avoid this topic as there are no benefits if I talk about it. If anything, it almost always results in negatives. However, there’s two things I want to talk about. I’ll write about the other one next time. Right now, I feel it’s important to talk about why I don’t talk about life in China because even with me saying what I just said there will be people who are already trying to take it out of context. People who know me know I am oddly out of touch with internet drama. I follow certain things because they’re hilarious, but that’s about it. I find the entire Ethan Ralph situation to be hilarious. That is why I follow it. I do not think DarkSidePhyll, Ethan from H3, Keemstar, or any other drama cows are funny. So, I do not follow them and generally just get a best of about their mooings on the internet. However, one person swept me up right away when they started causing drama. This person was Camelot331. However, by his sixth video some major cracks started to show and within 3 months the con was so obvious I am still shocked people haven’t figured it out.

In my last post I talked about how I used to be very fat. I am still fat. I am starting my weight loss journey again to lose these last 30 LBS. Lots of people have suggested two things to me: Keto diet and intermittent fasting. I’ve seen my friend Ben lose lots of weight on the Keto diet. I’ve also seen some friends gain weight on it; they were following it exactly. I’ve also done both of these in the past. However, I did intermittent fasting by accident. Both of these were resounding failures for my health and I had to stop.
